Local wild food experts and The Salt Box co-founders Beckie and Christian, will lead you on slow-paced meander through fields and woodlands, exploring ingredients and focusing on not only what is seasonally available, but also delicious too!
Guiding you through tips on harvesting, correct identification and possible look-alikes, we will also cover how to keep foraging safe and sustainable. This walk is designed for those at the start of their wild food journey, with a focus on how you can start to feature seasonal wilds in your cooking. We’ll provide recipe ideas and tips, as well as a digital foraging guide on everything we cover throughout the walk.
